I’m Esther, a painter and art student based in Glasgow. I like to draw and paint things around me in attempt to celebrate the beautiful ordinary. Faces and figures endlessly fascinate me and I am drawn to draw the mundane moments of everyday life, to propose that we slow down from the efficiency obsessed hurry that seems to carry us along. I think that portraits are stories told in paint, and I love to make paintings of people.
